Sunset Dolphin Nails!!!
Glitter Text Generator

Hi guys welcome back!!! Before I start today I will be announcing the winner to my New Year's contest! And the winner is (drum roll)........ Grace!!! Excellent job!!! From now on I will be giving out precious badges for every contest I have. I award Grace........

So let's get started! The materials we will need are:
  • clear nail polish
  • white polish
  • yellow polish
  • orange polish
  • blue polish
  • a black striper
  • a makeup sponge
  • a cotton bud
  • nail polish remover
Steps to making this design are:
  1. Start off with applying a solid base coat to protect your natural nails.
  2. Next, paint your nails one coat of white. This white coat that we apply will let colors that get applied over it stand out.
  3. Then, take out a makeup sponge of any brand. Paint a stripe of yellow, a stripe of orange, and a stripe of blue nail polish to represent the sunset background.
  4. Dab the sponge onto all of your nails. Apply a fast drying top coat to blend the colors, and to smooth out the texture on your nails.
  5. Clean up around your nails with a cotton bud dipped into nail polish remover.
  6. Next, paint a dolphin on your thumb nail and a dolphin on your ring finger nail.
  7. Draw two curved lines that kind of look like a banana with a black striper.
  8. Then, completely fill the inside of the lines.
  9. Press down on the tip of the striper to draw a flipper on the bottom of the dolphin, the dorsal fin at the top of the dolphin, and the flukes(the tail).
  10. Finish off with a fast drying top coat to seal in your design.
And there you are already done!!! I   really hope you enjoyed today's post!!! This post is  an introduction to how my spring posts will be looking like. City Skyline Nails

City Skyline Nails
Happy New Year everyone! Now I hope everyone is excited for the first nail design of 2013! Today's design is City Skyline nails! This design seems really hard, but really it isn't that hard. Anyway, let's get started; the materials are:
  • clear polish
  • white polish
  • Pore's makeup sponge or just a normal makeup sponge.
  • blue polish
  • purple polish
  • black polish
  • yellow polish
  • a white striper
  • paper
  • nail polish remover
  • one cotton bud
  • a toothpick
  Steps to Making This Design
  1. Start off with applying a solid base coat on your nails.
  2. Next, apply one coat of the white polish.
  3. Then, you can use a Pore's makeup sponge or just a normal makeup sponge of any brand to create a beautiful radiant for the night sky. Paint a stripe of blue and purple on the sponge.
  4. Then dab the sponge on the paper to remove the excess polish.
  5. Sponge the colors on your nail with the blue on the bottom of your nail and the purple in the middle of your nail.
  6. Apply a fast drying top coat to smoothen out the surface of your nail, and to blend the colors  in even more.
  7. Clean around your nail with a cotton bud dipped into the nail polish remover.
  8. Then use a regular black polish and paint a downward stroke to represent the buildings. Next, keep adding buildings of different heights on your nail.
  9. Next, add a very small and thin lightning rod at the top of the tallest building.
  10. Then, use a toothpick dipped into yellow polish to create very tiny rows of windows.
  11.  Finish by adding a fast drying top coat to seal in your design, and to add a gorgeous shine.
  One Extra And Optional Step
  1. If you want you can paint a small crescent moon at the corner of your nail using a white striper.
Now see how easy and pretty this design is. I hope you loved my first 2013 nail design and are waiting to see more. In the comment box below if you have any suggestions as usual you may ask me. The contest is still allowed to be entered until the end of January. Special Christmas Post!!!
I know ever since December has started I have been doing Christmas nail posts, but this post is just a sparkle bit more special. This post is going to include how to make Santa and his little elf's coats. So let's get started!!! The materials are:
    Santa's Coat

  • clear nail polish
  • red nail polish
  • white polish
  • black polish
  • gold polish
  • a toothpick
      Elf's Coat

  • clear nail polish
  • green polish
  • black polish
  • a toothpick
  • gold polish

The steps to making Santa's coat are:

  1. Start off by applying a solid base coat on your nails.
  2. Next, paint your nails with red polish.
  3. Then create a horizontal line on the tip of your nail and a vertical line using white polish to create the fur on Santa's coat.
  4. Use a black polish to paint a belt on the coat.
  5. Then use a gold nail polish to create the buckle right on top of the belt.
  6. Finally, paint a top coat on your nails to protect them from smudging.
     Elf's Coat
  1. Apply a solid base coat again just like you did to the other nails.
  2. Next apply a green polish on your nail.
  3. Create a horizontal line using black polish  to represent the elf's belt.
  4. Finally, use a gold nail polish to create the buckle on the belt.
  5. And as I  always say apply a top coat so that the design could stay longer, and it won't smudge.
Santa and his Little Elf's Coats
