Happy New Year everyone! Now I hope everyone is excited for the first nail design of 2013! Today's design is City Skyline nails! This design seems really hard, but really it isn't that hard. Anyway, let's get started; the materials are:
- clear polish
- white polish
- Pore's makeup sponge or just a normal makeup sponge.
- blue polish
- purple polish
- black polish
- yellow polish
- a white striper
- paper
- nail polish remover
- one cotton bud
- a toothpick
- Start off with applying a solid base coat on your nails.
- Next, apply one coat of the white polish.
- Then, you can use a Pore's makeup sponge or just a normal makeup sponge of any brand to create a beautiful radiant for the night sky. Paint a stripe of blue and purple on the sponge.
- Then dab the sponge on the paper to remove the excess polish.
- Sponge the colors on your nail with the blue on the bottom of your nail and the purple in the middle of your nail.
- Apply a fast drying top coat to smoothen out the surface of your nail, and to blend the colors in even more.
- Clean around your nail with a cotton bud dipped into the nail polish remover.
- Then use a regular black polish and paint a downward stroke to represent the buildings. Next, keep adding buildings of different heights on your nail.
- Next, add a very small and thin lightning rod at the top of the tallest building.
- Then, use a toothpick dipped into yellow polish to create very tiny rows of windows.
- Finish by adding a fast drying top coat to seal in your design, and to add a gorgeous shine.
- If you want you can paint a small crescent moon at the corner of your nail using a white striper.
