Converse Nails
Hello! Welcome back!!! As all of you know, during springtime the weather starts to change and it gets a little warmer outside. Many people especially pre-teens and teenagers like wearing Converse shoes for the trend. Today we will be learning to create a Converse shoe design. So let's get started!
Materials
- clear polish
- black polish
- white polish
- silver polish
- a dotting tool
- white striper
- black striper
Steps to Making This Design
- First, apply a clear polish to protect your natural nail.
- Secondly, paint your nails two coats of black polish.
- Then, swipe two coats of a white polish across the tip of your nail using a white striper.
- Next, use a silver polish and a dotting tool to create six small dots. Paint three dots on the right side of your nail and three dots on the left side of your nail.
- After you are done, use a white striper to create the laces of the shoes with a straight line to connect the pair of the first set of dots from the bottom of your nail. Then, create a, "x," by connecting the second set of dots from the middle part of your nail, and connect both dots diagonally. Now do the same step over again by using the top set of dots. Finally, connect the first set of the dots at the top of your nail with a straight line.
- Then, use the dotting tool to drop a small blob of black polish into every single silver dot.
- Our second to last step is to create a black and thin curved line across the white tip using a black striper.
- Finally, apply a clear coat to protect your design, and to smoothen out the surface of your nail.
This extra step that I am going to show you is optional. If you want to paint this Converse shoe design on all your nails that will also be fine.
Extra Step for Other Nails
- First, apply a solid base coat to protect your nails.
- Secondly, paint a white tip across the tip of your nail using a white striper.
- Then, using a black striper, paint a thin black line under the white tip.
- Finally, apply a clear coat to protect your design, and to smoothen out the surface of your nails.
And here you are done with a cute and easy design on your nail. Now whenever you wear your Converse shoes you can paint your nails the night before to match your outfit. These nails can be done anytime for a cute spring trend of nails. If you like this design please comment in the box below for any suggested design that you would like me to do for you. Well now I have to go. See you next time!!! TOODLES!!!

Water Marble Nail Art
Hi guys! Welcome back! I said last week that I would post up a contest today, but I'm going to extend the contest and post it up around mid-February. Today's design is a very simple and a cute design to make anytime you want. So today's design is........ Water Marble Nail Art!!! The materials to making this design are:
- clear nail polish
- white polish
- yellow polish
- pink polish
- blue polish
- nail polish remover
- Scotch tape
- a plastic cup
- water
- toothpick
- a cotton bud
Steps To Making This Design Are:
- Start off with applying Scotch tape all around your nail so the clean up process at the end will be much easier. Apply tape on the top of your nail, the bottom of your nail, the right of your nail, and the left of your nail.
- Then, apply a clear coat to protect your natural nails.
- Paint a thin coat of white polish over your nail, and then let your nail dry. After your nail dries paint another white coat to make the white polish look solid and more opaque.
- After you are done, fill a plastic cup with room-temperature water for this design to work. Then, choose a few bright colored nail polishes that are newly bought, and are a high quality brand. We will be using a yellow polish, a pink polish, and a blue polish for this design.
- Drop a blob of each color on the surface of the water . Drop each color in a pattern for about two times.
- Quickly make a design in the water by gliding a toothpick on the water's surface.
- Line up your nail with the design, and place your nail into the water. Leave your nail underwater for about five to ten seconds and gently blow on the surface of the water. This will let the polish on the surface dry quickly.
- Use a toothpick to remove the polish from the water's surface.
- Carefully remove your nail out of the water, and peel of the tape from the sides. Use a cotton bud dipped into nail polish remover to remove the polish from the side of your nail.
- Finally, add a top coat to protect your design and to give it a beautiful shine!
Wasn't that quite easy and fun?! This simple design is great to wear in a party or anywhere else. If you try this design, feel free to comment in the box below and tell me how the design was. Well this is all for today! See you next time!!! Bye!!!
