Indian Classical Music
Well I'm back! Today we're going to twist up all the music styles to something none of you have heard. We will be focusing on Indian culture classical music. Indian classical music can be found in Vedas, which are the oldest scriptures in the Hindu tradition. This kind of music is very rhythmic and expressive. Like Western classical music, it divides the octave  into twelve semitones of which the seven basic notes are in order.

Now since I am talking about the notes, I will explain you the main differences. If you think that Indian music notes are like the American notes, then you are on the right path but the notes are slightly different. American notes are Do,re,mi,fa,so,la,ti,do.

Now look carefully the Indian notes are Sa,re,ga,ma,pa,dha,ni,sa.

Now you know  how different the notes are. Well I hoped you liked this post because now you can go telling everyone that you know Indian music! As of now I have to go. TOODLES!!!
